MLB

Los Angeles Dodgers @ Pittsburgh Pirates at 6:40 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV.

The 42-24, reigning champion Dodgers hit the road for a three-game series against the 34-32 Pirates. Both squads are hoping to right the ship in this one. Los Angeles is trying to bounce back from the 13-5 drubbing they suffered against the Angels. On the other side, Pittsburgh is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. This matchup will be especially important for the Pirates, who are only a half-game out of one of the two NL Wild Card spots. Pittsburgh will be starting Cy Young winner Paul Skenes to kick this series off with a bang. He'll be going against the Dodgers' Eric Lauer.

One question that will be answered: Can Paul Skenes hold Los Angeles to two earned runs or fewer?

New York Yankees @ Cleveland Guardians at 6:40 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV., TBS, and Amazon Prime Video.

In the second of the three-game set between these squads, the 39-26 Yankees will face the 37-31 Guardians tonight. The first matchup in this series was a barn burner that was decided in extra innings. New York outfielder Cody Bellinger hit a go-ahead two-run single in the top of the 10th inning to lift the Pinstripes over Cleveland by a score of 7-5. Thanks to that victory, there's a chance the Yanks could overtake the 38-25 Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the AL East today. New York ace Gerrit Cole will be on the mound making his fourth start of the season, while Slade Cecconi gets the nod for the Guardians.

One question that will be answered: After he was shellacked for four earned runs and three homers in his last start against Cleveland, how many runs will Gerrit Cole give up in this contest?

Atlanta Braves @ Chicago White Sox at 7:40 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV.

The Braves take their MLB-best 45-21 record on the road for an interleague matchup with the 34-31 White Sox. Nobody in the Majors has been better than Atlanta recently, which has gone 8-2 in its last 10 games. Meanwhile, the White Sox are 6-4 in their last 10 outings, which has given them a two-game lead in the race for the last American League Wild Card spot. More importantly, Chicago is only 1.5 games back from the Guardians for first place in the AL Central, so there will be plenty of motivation for the Sox to have a strong showing tonight. The pitching matchup features Atlanta's Grant Holmes vs. Chicago's Brandon Eisert.

One question that will be answered: As the team that is tied for the fourth-most hits in the MLB over the last 15 days (120), how many hits will the White Sox record in this one?

Milwaukee Brewers @ Athletics at 10:05 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV.

The four-game interleague series between the 41-23 Brewers and the 31-35 Athletics continues this evening. The A's might have a losing record, but they're only 3.5 games back from the Seattle Mariners for the lead in the AL West. Plus, the Brewers-Athletics game yesterday was must-see TV! The two teams combined for 29 runs as Milwaukee downed the A's in extra innings. If Monday's contest is any indication of how this game might go, then we will have another excellent matchup. Robert Gasser gets the start for Milwaukee, while J.T. Ginn will be the Athletics' starter.

One question that will be answered: Will these teams combine for at least 11 runs tonight?

WNBA

Dallas Wings @ Minnesota Lynx at 8:00 p.m. EDT on WNBA League Pass.

Two of the best teams in the WNBA will face off for the second time this season when the 7-3 Wings hit the road for a matchup with the 9-2 Lynx, who currently own the best record in the league. The last time these squads got together, Minnesota rallied from a four-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Dallas, 90-86. Despite a game-high 27 points from the Wings' Paige Bueckers, Dallas had no answer for the Lynx's Natasha Howard and Courtney Williams, who combined for 47 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. With five-time All-Star Napheesa Collier less than a week away from making her 2026 debut, Minnesota is hoping to continue stacking wins before its best player returns to the lineup.

One question that will be answered: Who will have more combined points and assists: Dallas' Paige Bueckers or Minnesota's Olivia Miles?

NHL

Carolina Hurricanes @ Vegas Golden Knights Stanley Cup Finals Game Four at 8:00 p.m. EDT on ABC.

The 2026 Stanley Cup Finals have been absolutely electric thus far. Every game has been decided by one goal, and the last two matchups went to OT. After going down 4-0 in the second period of Game Three, Carolina scored four goals in the third period to force overtime. In the second overtime period, Vegas defenseman Shea Theodore threw a puck at Carolina's net that ricocheted off the back wall. Unfortunately for the Canes, the bouncing puck hit the skate of goalie Frederik Andersen and trickled in the back of the net, giving Vegas a 5-4 victory. With that win, the Golden Knights took a 2-1 lead. They're looking to improve to 3-1 tonight before the series shifts back to Carolina for Game Five.

One question that will be answered: Will this game be decided in regulation or overtime?
