In what will be one of the most-watched regular-season games this year, Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers go on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers and his predecessor, Aaron Rodgers. This will be Rodgers' first game against the team that drafted him back in 2005.

"It would feel different if it was going back to Green Bay," Rodgers told media members on October 22nd. "I have a lot of love for the organization. If we were playing at Lambeau, that would be a little different feeling for sure."

Even though Aaron Rodgers will be going against a team he spent so many years playing for, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is confident that his QB will go into this game with the same level-headed approach that he has for every matchup.

“Aaron's been at it a long time. He's got an awesome relationship with this game,” Tomlin told reporters during an October 21st press conference. “I haven't been with him for a long time, but he's been fired up every single week. I'd imagine it's going to be the same. I'd imagine some external things are going to make more out of it than it is for him. He's playing and playing to win. That's what he does, and that's kind of my perspective on it.”

One highly anticipated moment will be the on-field chat that takes place between Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love, the quarterback who essentially replaced him in Green Bay. Rodgers said that he has been speaking to Love throughout the season and staying in touch with Green Bay's 26-year-old QB.

“I texted with him last week because they had played a couple common opponents, so we had a couple texts back and forth,” Rodgers said. “He's a great kid, man. He really is. I enjoyed my time with him. I'm not surprised by how he's playing. He's playing great. His progression was like mine, where, first year, you're getting your feet wet. Second year, you feel a little bit more confident. By the time the third year comes around, you're ready to play.”

When speaking to the media, Jordan Love talked about how valuable it was to get to sit behind Aaron Rodgers and learn from a future Hall of Famer.

“Aaron was great. I think anytime - just being in the quarterback room - you want to have a great relationship with everybody in the room, just to, you know, make it a fun environment for what you're going to be in every day,” Love said on Tuesday. “Coming into it, obviously, I never knew what to expect, but I think Aaron was great to me all three years.”

Even though the biggest story in this game will be about Aaron Rodgers taking on the Packers, Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur is not focused on beating Aaron Rodgers. He is focused on beating the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"We're playing the Pittsburgh Steelers, who happen to have Aaron Rodgers," LaFleur told reporters on Monday. "It's as simple as that. That is for you guys to talk about. Granted, I mean, we've got a lot of love and respect for Aaron. What he's done here, I mean, he's a Hall of Famer. And I know, like our past together, we had a lot of great moments, but this game is not about that... It's about the Green Bay Packers versus the Pittsburgh Steelers."

At the same time, Aaron Rodgers does not see this as an opportunity to exact revenge on the team he spent 18 years with.

“I don't have any animosity toward the organization,” Rodgers said. “Obviously, I wish that things had been better in our last year there. But I have a great relationship with a lot of people still in that organization. This is not a revenge game for me. I'm just excited to see some of those guys and be on Sunday Night Football again.”

Prediction for Green Bay Packers (-3) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

I don't believe Aaron Rodgers when he said he doesn't see this as a revenge game. Rodgers is the most vindictive player in the NFL and will be desperately trying to beat the team that chose Jordan Love over him. With that type of motivation, there's no way the Steelers come away from Sunday night with a loss.

Prediction: Packers 27 - 29 Steelers
