SGA goes for 32 as OKC takes 3-2 series lead
The Oklahoma City Thunder led for the entire second half of Game Five as they defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 127-114, to improve to 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals. League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 32 points and nine assists, while big men Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgreen each posted double-doubles. On the other side, it was a night to forget for Victor Wembanyama, who went four for 15 from the field and 0/5 from beyond the arc.
Following the victory, the Thunder find themselves just one more win away from the 2026 NBA Finals, where they would go head-to-head with the New York Knicks. Either they'll take the series in San Antonio tomorrow night, or we'll have a Game Seven matchup on Saturday.

Dodgers' Ohtani set to start today, but Hernández will miss time with an injury
After he was hit by a pitch on his right hand yesterday, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is still scheduled to be on the mound for LA when they conclude their three-game set with the Colorado Rockies tonight.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for first baseman Kiké Hernández, who was put on the injured list just two days after making his 2026 regular-season debut. According to ESPN, Hernández suffered a left oblique strain in the fourth inning of yesterday's game that will put him on the 10-day IL. The good news is that manager Dave Roberts said that "it's not a season-ending thing."

Chiefs' TE Kelce acquires minority stake in MLB's Guardians
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is becoming a part of the Cleveland Guardians' ownership group as a minority stakeholder, he told ESPN earlier today.
"I have so much love for this city," Kelce said. "I say it all the time: I'm just a kid from the Heights living the dream. I credit every good thing in my life to Cleveland and being raised here with the values and the people and the work ethic... I've been lucky enough to have a front-row seat to good ownership in my career, and I know the best teams prioritize culture. Everyone is there to play their role, and right now, I'm here to observe and learn and really to support the team and the city when and where I can."
Travis Kelce was born and raised in Westlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland located 12 miles west of the city. He also attended high school in Cleveland Heights and college at the University of Cincinnati from 2008 to 2012.
