Aidan O'Brien has the top two in the market for Friday's feature race, the Coronation Stakes, with Precise and True Love.

Royal Ascot rumbles on and Friday’s Day 4 card looks set to be a cracker, with another seven races to sink our teeth into, and there are loads of intriguing angles to consider.

The day’s main event is the Group 1 Coronation Stakes and the three-year-old fillies get their chance to establish themselves as serious players over a mile.

Here is everything you need to know about Royal Ascot’s fourth day and some strong fancies to follow across the card.

Day 4 - Key info

First race: 14:30 Albany Stakes

Feature race: 16:20 Coronation Stakes

We get underway with the Group 3 Albany Stakes (14:30) and the great Aidan O’Brien will be hoping to continue his dominance in the juvenile division over the last two seasons.

The first of the day’s two Group 1 contests is the Commonwealth Cup (15:05) and the three-year-old sprinters get their chance to shine.

Aidan O’Brien is well set to win the Coronation Stakes (16:20), as he trains the first two in the market, 1000 Guineas winner True Love and Precise, winner of the Irish equivalent.

Royal Ascot’s version of the Derby is the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes (17:35) and the money has come for John & Thady Gosden’s twice-raced colt, Water To Wine.

Do not forget about the handicap action too, the first race is the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (15:40), then the Sandringham Stakes (17:00) and the Palace Of Holyroodhouse (18:10).

Best bet of the day

Precise to win the Coronation Stakes (16:20) @ 1/2

A field of nine has been declared for the Coronation Stakes and the master of Ballydoyle, Aidan O’Brien, appears to have a stranglehold on the race. True Love won the 1000 Guineas but his other runner, PRECISE, put her in her place at the Curragh.

The daughter of Starspangledbanner was very progressive as a two-year-old and managed to win consecutive Group 1s at the tail end of the season. Bolting up in the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket in October, it is no surprise that she has improved again at three.

A small setback meant that she was far from fully revved in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and she is much better than the seventh-place finish suggests. She was impressive when turning the tables in the Irish 1000 Guineas and it should be a similar story here.

Best each-way bet of the day

Ipanema Queen in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse (18:10) @ 28/1

IPANEMA QUEEN joined Robson Aguiar for this season and she was a very smart juvenile for Adrian Murray last term. She absolutely bolted up when winning a Curragh maiden by five-and-a-half lengths, before failing to fire in last year’s Albany Stakes.

Dropping back to 5f has clearly helped her as she returned to winning ways in a Listed contest at the Curragh in August. Earning a second Listed success at Dundalk in October, she looks fully capable of making her presence felt in handicap company.

Day 4 acca

We will have an accumulator for you every day of Royal Ascot and Thursday’s selections, including the day’s best bet, form a juicy 17/1 treble with LiveScore Bet.

Bet 1: Back Sun Goddess to win the Albany Stakes (14:30) @ 11/10

Aidan O’Brien has landed both the Coventry Stakes and the Queen Mary Stakes this week and he looks well set to land the Albany on Day 4. SUN GODDESS improved from her debut and bolted up at the Curragh when last seen, with further progress anticipated.

Bet 2: Back Opportunity to win the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (15:40) @ 9/2

Expectations were high for OPPORTUNITY last term and he ran in the Edward VII over course and distance, although he failed to fire on that occasion. He was an impressive winner of a handicap at Carlisle when last seen and might be ahead of the handicapper.

Bet 3: Back Precise to win the Coronation Stakes (16:20) @ 1/2

PRECISE was an exceptional two-year-old last term and she has blossomed into an even better horse this year. Her impressive victory in the Irish 1000 Guineas is the form race to consider and it will be a surprise if she fails to follow up here.
