The mariachi music has been blasting out loud in the first few weeks of the tournament with co-hosts Mexico winning their first two group matches without conceding.

Their place as group winners in the knockout stage is secure, but there will be a frantic scrap to finish as runners-up with South Korea, Czech Republic and South Africa all still in with a shout of going through.

Best Bets:

Mexico to win & both teams score @ 29/10

South Korea to win to nil @ 6/4

Czech Republic vs Mexico (Thursday, 2am)

Czech Republic beat Mexico 2-1 in the only meeting between these sides in 2000, but a repeat win looks beyond the European side this week.

They face a Mexico team riding a wave of euphoria following two victories as co-hosts and they can complete a perfect group campaign with another success in Mexico City on Thursday morning.

Mexico are unbeaten in 10 matches, winning eight times, while they have kept clean sheets in eight of those fixtures.

However, it may be worth keeping a Czech goal onside as only a win will do for Miroslav Koubek's men.

Having to chase the game could leave the Czechs open at the back at times, and even if Mexico choose to rotate their side with qualification confirmed, they still have the firepower to take advantage.

Both teams have scored in Czech Republic's last six matches, so backing a Mexico win in which both teams score could pay off.

Score prediction: Czech Republic 1-2 Mexico

South Africa vs South Korea (Thursday, 2am)

South Korea have won six of their last nine matches, keeping five clean sheets in the process, and they can secure second spot on Group A with a comfortable win over South Africa.

Mexico proved too strong for South Korea in their second game, but there should be no such issues against South Africa, who are winless in seven outings, a run dating back to December 29.

Only a win can keep South Africa in this tournament but that looks highly unlikely against a side as good as South Korea who possess a dazzling array of talent in attack.

South Korea dominated possession, had more shots and a higher expected goals output in the defeat to Mexico, so they can secure a comfortable win on Thursday.

Score prediction: South Africa 0-2 South Korea
