Pedro Neto Next Club Transfer Odds: Winger’s Chelsea Future in Doubt as City Circle

Pedro Neto started 30 and appeared in 34 of Chelsea’s 38 Premier League fixtures overall last season, however, despite being a first-team staple, the Blues look ready to cash in on the Portuguese winger this summer.
Chelsea have become one of football’s most prolific wheeler-dealer clubs since BlueCo’s takeover in 2022, and they’ve been busy again this summer, signing Danny Welbeck, Jordan Henderson, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra and Morgan Rodgers among others, though a major outgoing could be required to balance the books.
To that end and with prices in the transfer market spiralling, Neto could net a fee in the region of £75m should Chelsea sanction his sale and the 26-year-old would have no shortage of suitors if he chose to leave West London.

At the time of writing, Chelsea remain the favourites to retain Pedro Neto for the new 2026/27 campaign with the Blues priced at 1.33 to keep the winger beyond the close of the summer transfer window on 31st August.
Chelsea signed Neto from Wolves for around £51.3m in August 2024 and since then the wide attacker has chipped in with a relatively modest 19 goals in 103 appearances in all competitions for the Blues.
Neto managed to net only four and five goals respectively across his first two Premier League campaigns for Chelsea, hauls that led to sections of the club’s support questioning the value of his output.
The Blues have also added Morgan Rodgers and Geovany Quenda to their already crowded set of options for wide positions this summer, which means losing Neto wouldn’t be too much of a body blow to absorb.
We think a move away from Stamford Bridge for Neto is more likely than current prices would suggest.

Man City are going big this summer in a bid to ease the transition between Pep Guardiola’s departure and Enzo Maresca’s arrival, and Pedro Neto has been mooted as a potential recruit for the new-look project in Manchester.
Neto has already worked with Maresca during the latter’s spell in the dugout at Chelsea, with the Portuguese attacker playing a key role in the Blues’ FIFA Club World Cup win under the Italian coach in 2025.
Now a reunion between the pair could be in the works, with social media transfer guru Fabrizio Romano even claiming that City have opened direct club-to-club talks with Chelsea over the possibility of bringing Neto north.
City have already splurged a mammoth £116m on Elliot Anderson, while a £90m deal for Lille starlet Ayyoub Bouaddi is also close to completion, however, they aren’t ready to tighten the summer purse strings just yet, and a fee in the region of £75m has been suggested as a possible price point for Neto.
If, as suggested, City have opened direct talks with Chelsea, it’s likely that Neto has already indicated a willingness to make the switch. Don’t be surprised if the winger is wearing a different shade of blue soon.

Tottenham have finished in 17th spot in successive Premier League seasons, however, they seem determined to spend their way back to relevance this summer and have already backed new head coach Roberto De Zerbi to the tune of £250m.
Having strengthened their defence with Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi, and their midfield with the acquisitions of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, Spurs are on the lookout for additions in attack next, with De Zerbi telling fans to expect another transfer “bomba” soon.
Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo is believed to be on Tottenham’s radar, though they’ve also been linked with Pedro Neto, who has been viewed as a prime alternative to another target on the flank in Man City’s Savinho.
With City continuing to drag their heels over a deal for the Brazilian, Tottenham’s pursuit of Neto could be smoke and daggers on their part to help grease the wheels for Savinho, and it remains to be seen just how solid their interest in him is.
In addition, Neto is also likely to be reluctant to join Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham, especially if Man City offer him a more straightforward exit route. Prices of 5/1 here reflect the watery feel of Neto’s tenuous links with Spurs.
