St. Mirren vs St. Johnstone (Scotland Premiership) - 15:00
We begin today’s betting predictions at The Marbill Coaches Stadium where St. Mirren and St. Johnstone are backed to trade blows in what has the makings of an intriguing skirmish north of the border.
Both clubs started the new Scottish Premiership in fine style, with St. Mirren recording a 2-0 win at Falkirk and newly-promoted St. Johnstone battling their way to a dramatic 4-3 triumph over Kilmarnock that marked their return to the top flight with a bang.
Confidence in both camps should be peaking following their positive opening salvos, so there is a strong chance that both sides will push for follow-up victories here. With that in mind, it makes sense to look to the BTTS stakes for success, with prices there hovering around the 1.65 mark.
Recommended bet: Both Teams to Score – 13/20

Hartberg vs Sturm Graz (Austria Bundesliga) - 18:30
Hartberg were handed the unenviable task of travelling to take on RB Salzburg in their first assignment of the new Austrian Bundesliga season last weekend, however, they dug in and almost stole a point before conceding an 89th-minute decider (0-1).
Manfred Schmid’s side defended doggedly enough in that tough task to suggest they can make life just as difficult for Sturm Graz in Saturday’s encounter at the Profertil Arena Hartberg.
Sturm Graz are also likely to be a little jaded following their midweek exploits against Fenerbahce in the Champions League qualifiers, and squad rotation on Saturday is also a possibility ahead of next week’s return leg.
That could blunt their attacking edge enough to contribute to a low-scoring affair on Saturday. Three of the clubs’ last four encounters featured under 2.5 goals and we’re tipping this weekend’s clash to follow that trend.
Recommended bet: Under 2.5 Goals – 9/10

PSV Eindhoven vs Fortuna Sittard (Netherlands Eredivisie) - 19:00
PSV begin their Eredivisie title defence with what looks like a very winnable opening fixture at home to Fortuna Sittard in Eindhoven, and with the Dutch champions keen to put down an early marker, the goals could flow.
Peter Bosz’s exciting outfit scored 101 goals in 34 Eredivisie fixtures last term, five of which were plundered in one sitting when PSV last hosted Fortuna (5-2) in Eindhoven in October last year.
That hammering followed another five months prior in March 2025, when PSV cantered to a 4-1 victory over the same opponents, indeed, the Boeren have scored 19 times across their last five home meetings with Fortuna overall, with four of those games beating a target of over 3.5 goals.
Our free football tips recommend sticking with the same over 3.5 line for what promises to be another one-sided romp for PSV on Saturday.
Recommended bet: Over 3.5 Goals – 4/9

Gremio vs Sao Paulo (Brazil Serie A) - 20:00
Home advantage in this fixture between rivals Gremio and Sao Paulo has carried plenty of weight over the past few years, which means backing a victory for the hosts is the value pick from Saturday night’s game in Brazil.
100% of the last nine meetings between the clubs have been won by the home side, including each of the last four encounters hosted by Gremio.
Gremio are currently sitting in the bottom four in Serie A, however, their home form has been decent this season, with a return of five wins and only two losses from ten matches, while Sao Paulo have lost six times in 11 away tests, posting only two victories along the way.
Sao Paulo are also in a real slump form wise, having won only once in their last 12 attempts in all competitions, and it makes sense to oppose them in the markets again here.
Recommended bet: Gremio to Win – 5/4

Boca Juniors vs Velez Sarsfield (Argentina Liga Profesional) - 23:15
Early pace setters Velez Sarsfield have started the new Liga Profesional campaign with a perfect three wins from three games, yet surprisingly still find themselves as 17/5 underdogs ahead of their trip across Buenos Aires to face neighbours Boca Juniors.
Velez toppled Instituto (1-0) and Talleres Cordoba on matchdays one and two before beating Independiente (1-0) in their third outing of the fresh season in Argentina to secure maximum points and an early grip on top spot.
In contrast, Boca’s performances have been patchy, with points already dropped in two of their first three matches of the campaign. Boca have also lost two of their last three meetings with Velez, so it makes little sense to back them as odds on favourites here.
Instead, taking a confident Velez in the double chance market is the fancied approach at much keener odds.
Recommended bet: Velez Sarsfield Double Chance – 23/25
