Lincoln have a chance to go top if they beat Plymouth and Cardiff drop points at an improving Rotherham.
In-form Bolton are targeting a fourth win in a row when they welcome Barnsley to the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Rotherham could drag themselves out of the drop zone if they upset the odds at home to table-topping Cardiff.
There is another full 12-game fixture programme from League One in the works on Saturday, 7 February, with a pair of lunchtime matches on the menu to get things started.
The day’s remaining seven fixtures kick off at the traditional time of 3 pm, when there is the potential for a change at the division’s summit as Lincoln visit Plymouth and Cardiff make the trek to Rotherham.
Elsewhere, Mansfield put their lengthy unbeaten run on the line when they host Exeter, while Liam Manning looks to extend his 100% winning record to four games when Huddersfield take on Blackpool.
Luton Town vs Bradford City (Saturday, 12:31pm)
A second-half Jordan Clark strike was enough to earn Luton three points against Blackpool last weekend and the Hatters will be aiming to make home advantage count again when Bradford visit. City have lost four of their last five away games in League One and their issues on the road could scupper them again.
Score prediction: Luton Town 1-0 Bradford City
Port Vale vs Burton Albion (Saturday, 12:31pm)
Port Vale and Burton’s plight deepened when both teams lost home games in midweek to AFC Wimbledon (0-1) and Doncaster (1-2) respectively. Confidence in both camps will be low and a repeat of the 0-0 draw in August’s reverse fixture between the relegation candidates isn’t out of the question here.
Score prediction: Port Vale 0-0 Burton Albion
AFC Wimbledon vs Reading (Saturday, 3pm)
Wimbledon snapped a four-game winless run with a narrow victory at Port Vale (1-0) in midweek, though that win was secured against the division’s worst outfit and beating Reading should prove trickier. The Royals have lost just once in nine assignments and they could nick the points here against a Dons side that has failed to score in five successive home matches.
Score prediction: AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Reading
Bolton Wanderers vs Barnsley (Saturday, 3pm)
Bolton have collected 13 of the last 15 points on offer to strengthen their playoff push and in-form Wanderers look decently-placed to continue their good run at Barnsley’s expense. The visiting Tykes haven’t won an away game in the third tier since November and they were thumped 4-0 by leaders Cardiff in their last outing on the road.
Score prediction: Bolton Wanderers 2-0 Barnsley
Huddersfield Town vs Blackpool (Saturday, 3pm)
Huddersfield made it three wins from three under new boss Liam Manning in a heated 3-2 triumph at Peterborough that featured eight yellow cards last week. With a head of steam building, Town will fancy their chances of beating a Blackpool outfit that has lost six of their last seven games in league and cup.
Score prediction: Huddersfield Town 2-1 Blackpool
Mansfield Town vs Exeter City (Saturday, 3pm)
A sequence of three draws has slowed Mansfield’s rise, however, they are still unbeaten in eight games in League One and they won’t be beaten easily on Saturday. Exeter had their confidence rattled in a 4-0 loss at home to Rotherham last weekend, but they know how to dig in on the road and are unbeaten in four away trips.
Score prediction: Mansfield Town 1-1 Exeter City
Northampton Town vs Stevenage (Saturday, 3pm)
Northampton halted a run of four straight defeats with a 2-2 draw at Barnsley in midweek and with spirits lifted, they can trade blows with a Stevenage side in a slump. Borough’s playoff hopes are under threat following a return of one win from ten league matches, and they could drop more points at Sixfields Stadium.
Score prediction: Northampton Town 1-1 Stevenage
Peterborough United vs Wigan Athletic (Saturday, 3pm)
Peterborough endured heartbreak in midweek when they fought back to parity from two goals down only to concede again late on against Huddersfield. A similar showing could yield a better result on Saturday against a Wigan side that has lost four and drawn one of their last five fixtures in League One, however.
Score prediction: Peterborough United 3-2 Wigan Athletic
Plymouth Argyle vs Lincoln City (Saturday, 3pm)
Brave Plymouth’s seven-game unbeaten run came to an end last week when they lost 2-1 at high-flying Stockport and they face another stern test here with the visit of second-placed Lincoln. The Imps have won seven and drawn two of their last nine league matches, and they can prove their promotion credentials again on Saturday.
Score prediction: Plymouth Argyle 1-2 Lincoln City
Rotherham United vs Cardiff City (Saturday, 3pm)
Fine back-to-back wins over Northampton (2-1) and Exeter (4-0) mean that Rotherham can exit the relegation zone with the right set of results on Saturday. Visiting leaders Cardiff, who have drawn three of their last five, are having a bit of a wobble, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Bluebirds held by the resurgent Millers.
Score prediction: Rotherham United 1-1 Cardiff City
Stockport County vs Leyton Orient (Saturday, 3pm)
Two goals from leading marksman Kyle Wootton helped Stockport to smash-and-grab their way to a 2-1 win over Plymouth last week, and County will hope to be a little more comfortable against Leyton Orient. The visitors have lost three times in a row, notching just one goal along the way and Orient are unlikely to offer much resistance here.
Score prediction: Stockport County 2-0 Leyton Orient
Wycombe Wanderers vs Doncaster Rovers (Saturday, 3pm)
Wycombe earned a useful point at in-form Mansfield last week to stay in the playoff mix, keeping their third clean sheet in five games in the process. Doncaster won at Burton in midweek, but contesting away games back-to-back might leave them fatigued. Wanderers can lean on their solid defensive foundations to win again in this one.
Score prediction: Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 Doncaster Rovers
