Matz Sels stayed at Nottingham Forest after advanced talks over a move to Club Brugge broke down following a recruitment change, while former Forest Player of the Year Garath McCleary is still playing for Gillingham at 39.
Matz Sels was Club Brugge's top target to replace Simon Mignolet, with talks advanced, but a recruitment change ended the move and Nottingham Forest kept their No 1.
Garath McCleary won Forest's Player of the Year in 2011-12 after a superb late-season surge, then left on a free for Reading. Now 39, he is still playing for Gillingham.
