Chelsea close in on record Rogers deal as Enzo stance set and Roma emerge for Garnacho
Chelsea have agreed a £117m deal for Morgan Rogers, with the 23-year-old expected to sign a six-year contract plus an option after the World Cup. He would become Chelsea’s record signing and the most expensive British player, and is set to leave Aston Villa despite Champions League football being on offer elsewhere.
Chelsea value Enzo Fernandez at £120m and, as of now, have received no approaches. Xabi Alonso has said he would like to keep the midfielder but accepts he has a price. Real Madrid have publicly denied targeting Fernandez, while Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have also been linked.
Chelsea are set to receive around £1.80m from FIFA’s Club Benefits Programme for the 2026 World Cup, ranking sixth in the global payouts, per Kicker. The club had eleven players involved at the tournament.
