Brighton wait on Mitoma as Azeez nears return
Brighton visit bottom club Coventry, who are yet to score or take a point. The Seagulls are trying to avoid a fourth straight Premier League away defeat.
Femi Azeez has returned to Brighton training after a minor hamstring problem and could be in the squad at Coventry if he comes through the session unscathed.
Hurzeler said Ferdi Kadioglu’s frustrating World Cup and short break have affected his early form, but Brighton are backing him to get back on track and hit his highest level again.
Fabian Hurzeler said Zadok Yohanna has a small issue and is unlikely to feature for Brighton until after the international break as they manage his adaptation carefully.
Hurzeler said Rutter and Azeez could make Brighton’s weekend squad, but Mitoma, Minteh, Wieffer and Ferguson remain out. Mitoma is expected back after the international break.
