Watch: Milan youngster Athekame bags two assists in senior debut for Switzerland

Zachary Athekame has already been impressing in France, but the AC Milan loanee has now taken it to an international stage.

When Athekame was loaned out, there were a few disagreements about it, with some believing that he could’ve played a role in Ruben Amorim’s system. Nevertheless, it seems to be the right decision so far, with him shining in France.

In just five games, he has established himself as one of the best wing-backs in Europe – on current form – scoring twice and assisting twice in a brand new league. With this, he earned a senior call-up to the national team and made his debut on Saturday.
