TMW: Milan and Roma battling to secured ‘Nico Paz-style’ deal for Endrick
In recent months, AC Milan have become infatuated with the idea of bringing Endrick to San Siro and it is a growing possibility.
There are very few realistic dream signings for Milan currently. For example, Sandro Tonali’s recent move to Tottenham Hotspur has put his return on hold for a few years at the very least. However, a move for Endrick – a potential superstar of the future – seems more and more feasible.
The forward would be the latest iteration of Brazilian talent at the club and he is someone who has already got the fans dreaming, despite no official signs of a transfer being in the works. That could change in January, though, with Gerry Cardinale very interested.
A push for Endrick
In an editorial for TMW, via MilanNews, Enzo Bucchioni looked at the likelihood of Endrick arriving in Italy next year, with both the Rossoneri and Giallorossi keeping their interest (and hope) alive past the summer.
“Speaking of Real, the hunt for the twenty-year-old Brazilian Endrick is on, and Milan and Roma are still in the running. The duel has been going on since the summer, but then the greedy Mourinho blocked the possibility of a loan move.
“However, to date, with the extra-large squad they have, Endrick has remained off the radar. Could a loan move be made in January?
“In August, after Real Madrid rejected him, Milan signed Hutchinson for the role, but the Englishman is struggling. The idea is to return to the game. Roma are doing the same, and D’Amico has reportedly been spotted in Madrid.
“Endrick was paid around fifty million, and Real Madrid has absolutely no intention of undervaluing the investment. The Rossoneri and Giallorossi have been notified, but exploring Nico Paz-style formulas might be possible.”
