Three standout players from Arsenal's friendly draw with Como
Arsenal's final game of their pre-season campaign ended in a 1-1 draw with Serie A side Como at the Emirates Stadium
Myles Lewis-Skelly pounced on an error by the visitors' backline to put his side in front with a well-taken effort, but Martin Baturina levelled shortly after to ensure the spoils were shared after 90 minutes. The Gunners won the resulting penalty shootout with David Raya saving two spot kicks.
It was an improvement on their previous two performances, but Mikel Arteta's side still looked well below par as they closed out their preparations for the new season. Despite that, there were three players who stood out for Arsenal.

1. Marli Salmon
Trusted to start at centre back at just 16-years-old, Marli Salmon looked well suited on the right side of the Gunners' central pair.
He dealt with pressure from the Como attack incredibly well and was calm and composed when on the ball, even making runs forward to help out in attacking situations.
With his future guaranteed for the time being, Salmon's standout showing against the Serie A side proved he is potentially ready to enjoy a breakthrough season in North London.
2. Myles Lewis-Skelly
Fresh off a day of rumours that went from him being offered to Chelsea and Manchester to being set to stay at Arsenal, Myles Lewis-Skelly started in a midfield role once again and showed what he can offer his side.
He was heavily influential in the middle of the park as he linked up with his teammates, completing all of his 22 passes and working well with Ethan Nwaneri, Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Martinelli.
His performance was summed up when he grabbed the opening goal after half an hour, winning back possession on the edge of the box to roll the ball into the bottom corner. Yet another impressive display from Lewis-Skelly, he was brought off after 61 minutes.
3. Bruno Guimarães
One of the most highly anticipated debuts in the Gunners' recent history, Bruno Guimarães was brought off the bench to make his first appearance in Arsenal colours and he impressed as he was given the whole second-half to show what he can do.
The Brazilian had the Emirates crowd on their feet practically instantly as minutes after coming on, he made a great run to track back and dispossess a Como attacker and kill a promising move for the Italians.
It was just a small glimpse at what Guimarães will be looking to offer during his time in North London, but he showed how well he can fit into Arteta's setup, especially when Declan Rice isn't also in the side.
