Serie A: Inter vs. Udinese – probable line-ups, where to watch on TV
John Stones is set to make his first start for Inter in a home match against Udinese, who have arrived at San Siro without Nicolò Zaniolo and Oumar Solet.
It kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 BST] at the Stadio Meazza in San Siro, Milan.
The Nerazzurri are still missing Djed Spence, who is currently training to regain his match fitness. The Englishman is the only unavailable player for the defending Serie A champions.
His compatriot Stones is expected to start for the first time, joining Manuel Akanji and Alessandro Bastoni.
Doubts remain in central midfield, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Cristian Chivu will pick Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolò Barella and Piotr Zielinski.
According to Sky Sport, Curtis Jones will start in place of Calhanoglu, with Chivu looking to rotate his squad ahead of next Saturday’s big game away at Roma.
Lautaro Martinez will start up front for the Nerazzurri, joined by either Marcus Thuram or Francesco Pio Esposito.
Federico Dimarco is available, but will start on the bench after recovering from a mild knee injury.
Udinese have travelled to Milan without six players, including Solet, Zaniolo, Matteo Palma and Jakub Piotrowski. Scotland international Lennon Miller will likely start in central midfield for the Bianconeri, joining Jesper Karlström.
