In a mercato of names, Milan have certainly searched far and wide for an attacking midfielder, with plenty of different names brought forward. However, they have faced more than their fair share of problems.

Whether it be other competition or changing decisions, the Rossoneri have not exactly had a clear run at any of their options, unfortunately, and that is continuing.

Nwaneri to stay at Arsenal?

Fabrizio Romano has now offered an update on the Ethan Nwaneri situation, as MilanVibes relayed, and it is certainly not an expected one…

Indeed, the latest suggestion is that Arsenal now want to keep the winger. Interest has come with a desire to have an option for the future included and the North London club are not willing to accept that. So, he is increasingly likely to stay.

As a result of this, it seems that the Rossoneri’s position in the race is being withdrawn slightly, given their desire to build for the future, not build towards someone else’s. So, the list of options gets smaller.

There are still names on the table and there is not a complete drought of targets. However, action is needed in the near future.
