Reports: Milan make price tag clear as Trabzonspor target midfielder
Among the many players at risk of leaving before the transfer window closes is Yunus Musah, and it appears a new club have entered the running.
The American played on loan at Atalanta last year with an option to buy, but he didn’t get much game time under Ivan Juric or Raffaele Palladino. He spent most of his time on the bench and consequently was not signed on a permanent basis.
Musah thus returned to Milanello and – like many of his team-mates – he accepted Ruben Amorim’s desire to closely evaluate all his players. The former Valencia man fought for his place and attempted to convince the Portuguese, though it seems he has failed to do so.
In recent weeks there has been talk of the 23-year-old having been offered to Besiktas, while Lazio have been named as admirers with Gennaro Gattuso now at the helm there.
MilanNews write that – according to reports from Turkey – Musah has been targeted by Trabzonspor. The Turkish club are clearly wanting to have a statement summer window, having managed to convince Mohamed Salah to sign there on a free transfer.
Milan are asking between €15-20m in order to sell Musah. At the same time, he might not even leave, as Amorim could make us of his verstility. In recent days, it has been suggested that his fate could be tied to that of Samuele Ricci: if one leaves then the other is likely to stay.
