Report Neto will have Juventus medical on September 27

Free agent Neto is expected to undergo his Juventus medical tests on Sunday, ready to begin training with Luciano Spalletti’s team from Monday.

The Bianconeri found themselves needing to bolster the squad with another goalkeeper after the devastating anterior cruciate ligament injury for Kamil Grabara.

That happened after a routine training exercise, and the Polish shot-stopper is expected to be out of action for anywhere up to seven months following surgery.

Neto ready for Juventus return

Neto was quickly able to agree personal terms for a short-term contract to June 2027.

According to reports, the Brazilian is expected to be in Turin later tonight and will undergo his medical tests on Sunday at the J|Medical Centre.

Juventus are currently taking time off during the break for international duty and will resume training on Monday, with Neto added to Spalletti’s group.

This represents a return to the Old Lady for the 37-year-old, who had already worn the white and black stripes from 2015 to 2017.

He has since played for Valencia, Barcelona, Bournemouth, Arsenal and most recently Botafogo, with that contract expiring on June 30.
