Pulisic returns with a bang against Lazio: “You can’t leave him out”

Christian Pulisic played a key part in AC Milan’s comeback against Lazio, and if you ask Emanuele Giaccherini, the American should always play for the Rossoneri.

Four games into the season, Pulisic finally got to make his first minutes, coming off the bench for the second half against Lazio. An injury sustained at the World Cup held him back during pre-season and Ruben Amorim felt he wasn’t ready for the first three games.

Given what we saw last night, however, the Portuguese head coach will surely look to give Pulisic a starting spot in this team. He was heavily praised by the newspapers this morning, providing the assist for Diego Moreira’s first goal, and he also added energy that was missing.

Giaccherini praises Pulisic

The current DAZN pundit and former player, Emanuele Giaccherini, spoke about Pulisic’s impact after the game (via Calciomercato.com) and said that he’s one of the best attacking midfielders in the world. As such, when fit, he should always be playing for Milan.

“Let’s not joke around here. Pulisic is a world-class player. One of the best attacking midfielders in the world, and if he’s fit, he should play.

“But you can’t leave him out, as far as I’m concerned”, Giaccherini concluded.
