Inter, Napoli and Milan could end week 19 top of Serie A
Fiorentina have a chance to move out of the relegation places after winning two out of their last three
AC Milan are unbeaten in 16 Serie A games
January 6 is a public holiday in Italy and there are three games on Tuesday, followed by five more on Wednesday and two on Thursday.
Champions Napoli can move to the top of the table when they host Verona at 5.30pm on Wednesday, before current leaders Inter face Parma on the same evening at 7.45pm.
Milan are also in the mix and concludes the week 19 fixtures at home to Genoa on Thursday.
Pisa vs Como (Tuesday, 2pm)
An early kick-off sees Pisa, who have won only once all season, host Europe-chasing Como. After December defeats to Inter and Roma, Cesc Fabregas' visitors have beaten Lecce and Udinese without conceding. Seven of I Larinai's last eight games have ended 'no' on both teams to score, so expect them to ease through.
Score prediction: Pisa 0-2 Como
Lecce vs AS Roma (Tuesday, 5pm)
Roma have lost their last two away trips, but against tough opposition in Juventus and Atalanta. This game at Lecce is a chance to respond, although former Giallorossi boss Eusebio Di Francesco saw his side go unbeaten in three at home (2W, D1) before losing 3-0 to Como on December 27.
Score prediction: Lecce 1-2 Roma
Sassuolo vs Juventus (Tuesday, 7.45pm)
Juventus have lost only one of their last 14 away games and can extend that run at Sassuolo. The Neroverdi are enjoying a decent return to the top flight but have won only three of their nine home fixtures.
Score prediction: Sassuolo 1-2 Juventus
Bologna vs Atalanta (Wednesday, 5.30pm)
Bologna and Atalanta are separated by a point in the standings and could cancel each other out. The pair drew 1-1 when they last met at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in September 2024 and that looks a likely outcome.
Score prediction: Bologna 1-1 Atalanta
Napoli vs Verona (Wednesday, 5.30pm)
Napoli have won six out of seven at home in 2025-26 and win number eight, which will put them top, albeit potentially temporarily, beckons against Verona. The visitors prop up the table and December's away victory at Fiorentina is their only road success this season.
Score prediction: Napoli 3-0 Verona
Lazio vs Fiorentina (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Fiorentina have won two of their last three matches to get within three points of safety and can take a point against Lazio. I Biancocelesti have failed to win their last three, and with players leaving the club this month, they hardly inspire confidence.
Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Fiorentina
Parma vs Inter Milan (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Current leaders Inter may have lost their position by the time they kick off in Parma, but should have enough to reclaim top spot, or extend their lead should Napoli slip up. Their hosts are in decent form and plotting a path through mid-table. Parma came from two goals down to hold Inter 2-2 at home last April, but Cristian Chivu, who coached the hosts that day, can get one over on his former club on Wednesday. Score prediction: Parma 1-3 Inter Milan
Torino vs Udinese (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Another pair separated by a point are Torino, who have 23, and Udinese on 22. However, Le Zebrette have won only once in six in all competitions and the points could stay in Turin.
Score prediction: Torino 3-1 Udinese
Cremonese vs Cagliari (Thursday, 5.30pm)
Cagliari have matching home and away records, winning twice, drawing three times and losing four. Thursday's hosts Cremonese's 12 away points is better than their 11 at home, but they can add three to that tally to end their four-game winless run.
Score prediction: Cremonese 2-1 Cagliari
AC Milan vs Genoa (Thursday, 7.45pm)
Milan are also in the running for top spot and should keep pace by beating Genoa without conceding to extend their unbeaten league run to 17 games. However, Massimiliano Allegri's approach is to defend first and a fourth clean sheet in five at home looks likely.
Score prediction: AC Milan 1-0 Genoa
