Lazio have failed to score in six of their last eight Serie A away matches
Pisa have scored just once in eight home league games this term
Inter are unbeaten in their last 13 Serie A meetings with Atalanta
It is beginning to look like a packed party at the top of Serie A and leaders Inter will hope they can improve on their record of 10 wins from 21 Serie A games when they head to Atalanta, who are showing signs of recovering from a poor start.
Inter’s main challengers Milan will hope to move to the top of the table with a win over Hellas Verona, but will not be able to take things lightly against their visitors, who have won their last two games against Atalanta and Fiorentina.
Parma vs Fiorentina (Saturday, 11.30am)
Parma’s aim for 2026 will be to get as far away from the bottom three in Serie A as possible and ill view a home game against bottom-of-the-table Fiorentina as a great opportunity.
However, they have won just three times this season themselves and may have to settle for a point in a fixture where the scores have finished level in each of the last five meetings, especially as they have lost their last two home games without scoring.
Score prediction: Parma 1-1 Fiorentina
Lecce vs Como (Saturday, 2pm)
Goals have been a concern for Lecce recently as they have managed to net just four times in their last seven matches, so do not be surprised if Como come out on top in this one.
The visitors have fallen to defeats to Inter and Roma in their last two matches, but this assignment looks a lot more manageable for a team who sit seventh in the Serie A table and continue to establish themselves as a rising force in the Italian top flight.
Score prediction: Lecce 0-2 Como
Torino vs Cagliari (Saturday, 2pm)
Torino have discovered some good form towards the end of the year and successive wins over Cremonese and Sassuolo have meant they sit a little easier in the table.
They are 12th and the sight of Bologna in sixth just five points ahead of them should encourage them in their home game against Cagliari, whose position looks more precarious and have failed to win any of their last seven Serie A away matches.
Score prediction: Torino 2-0 Cagliari
Udinese vs Lazio (Saturday, 5pm)
Udinese suffered the indignity of being thumped 5-1 by basement boys Fiorentina last time out, but they should be able to reflect positively on the 1-0 victory they earned against Napoli the last time they were on their own patch.
That result should give them plenty of encouragement that they can repeat the success against Lazio, who have failed to score in six of their last eight away league matches.
Score prediction: Udinese 1-0 Lazio
Pisa vs Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Pisa will be under no illusions as to the size of the task they face to stay in Italy’s top flight in the second half of the season, and Juventus’s visit on Saturday night looks a daunting one.
The home team have scored just one goal in front of their own fans in the league this season, while the Old Lady have lost just one of their last eight Serie A outings
Score prediction: Pisa 0-2 Juventus
AC Milan vs Hellas Verona (Sunday, 11.30am)
Struggling Verona have climbed off the bottom with wins over Atalanta and Fiorentina in their last two games and have failed to score in just one of their last eight league outings.
However, a visit to Milan, who have not lost since a home reverse to Cremonese on the opening weekend, looks a difficult assignment so take the Rossoneri to win a high-scoring game.
Score prediction: AC Milan 3-2 Hellas Verona
Cremonese vs Napoli (Sunday, 2pm)
Cremonese have beaten both Milan and Bologna since gaining promotion, but this looks a difficult clash.
All four of Napoli’s league defeats this season have come on the road, including a 1-0 loss to Udinese last time out, but that defeat followed three straight victories and they can get back to winning ways.
Score prediction: Cremonese 0-2 Napoli
Bologna vs Sassuolo (Sunday, 5pm)
Bologna are sixth in the table but need to pick up after losing their last two league home games against Cremonese and Juventus.
Sassuolo, who have seen at least three goals in six of their last seven league games, can gain a share of the spoils, having lost only one of their last six on their travels, including a decent 2-2 draw at Milan the last time they were on the road.
Score prediction: Bologna 2-2 Sassuolo
Atalanta vs Inter Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)
After winning just two of their opening 12 league games, Atalanta have beaten Fiorentina, Cagliari and Genoa in the last four matches.
However, their recovery is likely to be severely tested by Serie A leaders Inter, who have won 10 of their last 12 league games and have not been beaten in their last 13 league meetings with the Bergamo outfit.
Score prediction: Atalanta 1-2 Inter Milan
Roma vs Genoa (Monday, 7.45pm)
Roma have lost three of their last four Serie A matches and three points against Genoa looks far from guaranteed.
The visitors could nick this one, having gone five games unbeaten before being beaten by leaders Inter and improving Atalanta in their last two outings.
Score prediction: Roma 0-1 Genoa
