Inter Milan have already sealed their 21st Serie A title
Hellas Verona and Pisa are both relegated, but Cremonese and Lecce are still battling for survival
Como, Roma and AC Milan remain in the hunt for the final Champions League spot
The penultimate round of Serie A matches will take place on Sunday, May 17 and while Inter Milan have won their 21st league title, there is still plenty to play for when it comes to relegation and European places for next season.
AC Milan, Como and Roma are chasing the fourth Champions League spot on offer, while there is a battle at the bottom to see who avoids finishing 18th and being relegated to Serie B.
We have predictions for all 10 games of matchday 37 in Serie A this weekend.
Pisa vs Napoli (Sunday, 11.30am)
Pisa will be playing their football in Serie B next season, having won just two league games throughout 2025-26.
Napoli might not have retained their Serie A table, but Antonio Conte’s men could still finish second.
The home side have lost seven consecutive league games entering this match, while Napoli have lost only twice since February 22.
Score prediction: Pisa 0-3 Napoli
Como vs Parma (Sunday, 11.30am)
Como secured qualification for Europe for the very first time in their history following the 1-0 win over Verona. The question is, what competition will they be playing in?
Cesc Fabregas’ men sit sixth with two games left, yet trail Juventus in third by just three points.
Parma occupy 13th place in the table, but have lost their last two matches. They have yet to beat Como since Fabregas’ side returned to Serie A and it is unlikely they will end this streak on Sunday.
Score prediction: Como 2-0 Parma
Genoa vs AC Milan (Sunday, 11.30am)
At one stage, it looked as though AC Milan could challenge for the Serie A title but a poor run derailed those ambitions and making the Champions League will be seen as a success now.
Three of the last four games between these two have ended as draws and another stalemate looks likely given the form of both teams.
Score prediction: Genoa 1-1 AC Milan
Roma vs Lazio (Sunday, 11.30am)
The final Derby della Capitale of the season awaits on Saturday. Roma enter the match in solid form, winning three successive league games and they have ambitions of finishing in the top four.
Lazio will finish outside of the European places in Serie A this term and Maurizio Sarri’s men also lost the Coppa Italia final in midweek to Inter.
Score prediction: Roma 2-1 Lazio
Juventus vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 11.30am)
Juventus have improved in recent months and could well overtake Napoli and finish second if results go their way.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, narrowly avoided relegation to Serie B, winning just eight games at the time of writing.
The reverse fixture finished 1-1, but expect the Old Lady to seal a place in the Champions League with a win this weekend.
Score prediction: Juventus 2-0 Fiorentina
Inter Milan vs Verona (Sunday, 2pm)
Inter may have suffered a dismal European exit to Bodo/Glimt in March, but winning the Serie A and Coppa Italia double might be enough to console the fans.
For Verona, their seven-year spell in the Italian top flight will come to an end this season. Three wins from 36 games means they are second bottom and will face a tough task to take anything from the San Siro on Sunday.
Score prediction: Inter Milan 3-0 Verona
Atalanta vs Bologna (Sunday, 5pm)
Atalanta occupy the seventh and final European spot heading into this clash against eighth-placed Bologna.
Six points separate the two teams, with Atalanta just requiring a single point from this clash to seal a Conference League spot next term.
Score prediction: Atalanta 2-2 Bologna
Udinese vs Cremonese (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Udinese will be eyeing a top-half finish as they take on Cremonese in their penultimate fixture.
The away side sit 18th in the table and desperately need a win to give their survival chances a massive boost as just one point separates them from safety.
Six of the last eight games have ended as draws between these two. Expect the same on Sunday.
Score prediction: Udinese 2-2 Cremonese
Sassuolo vs Lecce (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Sassuolo will still be in Serie A next season, but Lecce’s future is uncertain. A win here combined with a Cremonese defeat would guarantee their safety.
The home side will not be thinking about that, however, as a win could take them into the top half of the table if other results go in their favour.
Score prediction: Sassuolo 1-0 Lecce
Cagliari vs Torino (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Cagliari host Torino knowing that a point will all but guarantee safety this season but even if they are beaten, defeats for either Lecce or Cremonese will also mean another season of top-flight football for them.
Torino have lost just one of their last six league matches and a win would see them secure a finish no lower than 12th.
Score prediction: Cagliari 1-2 Torino
