Leaders Inter face a tough trip to fourth-placed Como
European hopefuls Atalanta and Juventus do battle in Bergamo
Cagliari host Cremonese in a relegation six-pointer
There are seven games to go in Serie A and, with plenty at stake at both ends of the table, this is a crunch stage in the season.
Inter have a seven-point cushion over Napoli in the title race but a trip to fourth-placed Como on Sunday will require maximum focus, while Juventus travel to Atalanta on Saturday in a fixture that could have huge ramifications on the battle for European qualification.
Meanwhile, 16th-placed Cagliari entertain 17-placed Cremonese and defeat could be fatal to their survival hopes.
Roma vs Pisa (Friday, 7.45pm)
Pisa have looked out of their depth in Serie A and sit bottom of the table following six defeats in seven. The visitors have failed to score in four away games and should be outclassed by Roma, who have won three of their last four at home to nil.
Score prediction: Roma 2-0 Pisa
Cagliari vs Cremonese (Saturday, 2pm)
Four straight losses have seen Cagliari slide down the Serie A standings and it leaves them only three points clear of the relegation spots. Cremonese are one place below and are in equally woeful form, winning only one of their last 17 league matches. The reverse fixture was a draw and this may be too.
Score prediction: Cagliari 1-1 Cremonese
Torino vs Verona (Saturday, 2pm)
Inconsistencies have blighted Torino’s progress but they have found some form at home, winning three of their last four matches. Second-bottom Verona look destined for the drop and have suffered three straight league defeats without scoring.
Score prediction: Torino 2-0 Verona
Milan vs Udinese (Saturday, 5pm)
Two defeats in three outings has dealt a major blow to Milan’s hopes of chasing down rivals Inter but they have won their last four meetings with Udinese and should hit back. Four of Milan’s last six league wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet.
Score prediction: Milan 1-0 Udinese
Atalanta vs Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Atalanta are seventh, four points behind fifth-placed Juventus, but they have won six of their last eight home matches. That run includes a 3-0 beating of the Old Lady in the Coppa Italia quarter-final and the visitors have lost four of their last eight away games.
Score prediction: Atalanta 2-1 Juventus
Genoa vs Sassuolo (Sunday, 11.30am)
Genoa have not yet secured survival but they have won four of their last six home league games and this looks a good opportunity. Sassuolo have lost the last three meetings between the sides 2-1 and they can blow hot and cold.
Score prediction: Genoa 2-1 Sassuolo
Parma vs Napoli (Sunday, 2pm)
Monday’s 1-0 win at home to Milan was a fifth straight success for Napoli and the reigning Serie A champions are finding their stride. They should be too strong for Parma, who are winless in five and struggling for motivation.
Score prediction: Parma 0-1 Napoli
Bologna vs Lecce (Sunday, 5pm)
Third-bottom Lecce have lost 10 of their 15 away games in Serie A and their survival hopes are unlikely to get a boost at Bologna, who were 2-1 winners at Cremonese last time out. The visitors have scored in two of their last three away defeats at Napoli and Como.
Score prediction: Bologna 2-1 Lecce
Como vs Inter (Sunday, 7.45pm)
The clash of the weekend in Serie A sees Cesc Fabregas' Como entertain Inter and the leaders may have to settle for a point. This pair drew 0-0 in the Coppa Italia at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in March and the visitors have shared the spoils in three of their last five matches.
Score prediction: Como 1-1 Inter
Fiorentina vs Lazio (Monday, 7.45pm)
Thursday’s Conference League trip to Crystal Palace may serve as a distraction for Fiorentina and Lazio can capitalise. The Eagles are unbeaten in five and they were impressive 2-0 winners at Bologna in their last away game.
Score prediction: Fiorentina 0-2 Lazio
