Leaders Inter seven points clear but lost the derby last week 1-0 to second-placed Milan
Como up to fourth with Napoli, Roma and Juventus all also in the top-four mix
Pisa, Verona and Cremonese occupy the relegation places
There is a full slate of Serie A games coming up again this weekend, spread out between Friday and Monday.
Leaders Inter Milan host Atalanta on Saturday, while there is a huge game at the bottom on Monday evening when Cremonese entertain Fiorentina.
Here we preview all the action and have a score prediction for each game.
Torino vs Parma (Friday, 7.45pm)
The Serie A action begins on Friday evening when Torino, in 15th, face 12th-placed Parma.
Torino were only edged out 2-1 by top-four hopefuls Napoli last time, but up against a Parma outfit who are unbeaten in their last five, they may be in for more pain.
Score prediction: Torino 1-3 Parma
Inter Milan vs Atalanta (Saturday, 2pm)
Leaders Inter need to respond after losing the Milan derby last weekend. They still have a seven-point advantage at the top and should see off Atalanta, who were hammered 6-1 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Score prediction: Inter Milan 2-0 Atalanta
Napoli vs Lecce (Saturday, 5pm)
Third-placed Napoli are four points behind Milan above and should stay in touch with a home win over Lecce, who are down in 16th and only sit three points clear of the relegation zone.
Score prediction: Napoli 1-0 Lecce
Udinese vs Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Mid-table Udinese might be able to snatch a point against Juventus, who are in the hunt for a top-four finish but who have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions on the road.
Score prediction: Udinese 1-1 Juventus
Verona vs Genoa (Sunday, 11.30am)
Verona are in a desperate situation in second-bottom, seven points off safety, but they did get a win on the board last time, beating Bologna 2-1 away.
Following up now against Genoa, who are 13th, will be key to their hopes of pulling off a great escape, but the visitors were also impressive 2-1 winners over Roma on Sunday and they look set to claim a point.
Score prediction: Verona 2-2 Genoa
Pisa vs Cagliari (Sunday, 2pm)
Two out-of-form teams meet in Pisa as the hosts, who are now winless in 17 matches, take on a Cagliari outfit who last won on January 31, five games ago.
Pisa have failed to score in their last three defeats and it could be more of the same for them this weekend.
Score prediction: Pisa 0-1 Cagliari
Sassuolo vs Bologna (Sunday, 2pm)
Sassuolo are a point and a place behind Bologna, who are eighth and the hosts are fancied to come out on top in this match-up, maintaining their solid home form – having won three of their last four at their Stadio Citta del Tricolore base.
Score prediction: Sassuolo 2-1 Bologna
Como vs Roma (Sunday, 5pm)
Como's superb season continued with a 2-1 win at Cagliari last Saturday and the surprise package in Italy are now up to fourth, above Sunday's opponents Roma, although the two sides both have 51 points.
This could be the game of the weekend in Italy and goals are expected – with Como tipped to further boost their top-four hopes by claiming a narrow win.
Score prediction: Como 3-2 Roma
Lazio vs AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Milan got a vital win over Inter in the derby to keep their hopes of the Scudetto just about alive and they should do enough to see off mid-table Lazio in Rome.
The hosts have only won one of their last five matches so could be fragile.
Score prediction: Lazio 1-3 AC Milan
Cremonese vs Fiorentina (Monday, 7.45pm)
This is a relegation six-pointer in Cremona with the home side currently residing in the final drop zone place and La Viola just a point and a place better off.
Cremonese's miserable winless run stretches back 14 games, while Fiorentina have been in better form of late, picking up victories over Como and Pisa last month, while they drew 0-0 with Parma last week.
It is likely to be tight and tense, but the visitors can secure a crucial win.
Score prediction: Cremonese 0-1 Fiorentina
