Inter sit 10 points clear at the top of Serie A
Roma host Juventus in the pick of the weekend games
Fiorentina travel to Udinese to conclude action on Monday
This weekend’s Serie A action begins on Friday and concludes on Monday, with some significant fixtures that could have a major impact on the standings.
The race for European football hots up as in-form Roma entertain an out-of-sorts Juventus, while league leaders Inter Milan will be looking to bounce back from their midweek Champions League exit.
Parma vs Cagliari (Friday, 7.45pm)
Parma have moved further clear of the relegation zone with three consecutive wins, including last weekend’s 1-0 away success at AC Milan, and they can make use of home advantage.
Opponents Cagliari sit one place below them in 13th, but they are winless in three and have failed to score a single goal in that period.
Score prediction: Parma 2-0 Cagliari
Como vs Leece (Saturday, 2pm)
Como got their hunt for European football back on track with a huge 2-0 win away to Juventus, and a home clash with struggling Leece can see them triumph again.
Leece have only managed three wins on the road this season, and they have netted a division-low 17 goals in 26 games. This will be a tough test for them.
Score prediction: Como 3-0 Leece
Hellas Verona vs Napoli (Saturday, 5pm)
Napoli's hopes of defending their title are all but over following a draw with Roma and defeat to Atalanta, but a trip to bottom-side Hellas Verona can see them return to winning ways.
Verona have only registered two victories all season, and they face a side who will be desperate not to fall out of the Champions League places.
Score prediction: Hellas Verona 0-2 Napoli
Inter Milan vs Genoa (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Inter opened up a 10-point lead at the top of the table thanks to a 2-0 away win at Leece last weekend, a result that extended their unbeaten run in Serie A to 14 matches.
After exiting the Champions League to Bodo/Glimt, the Nerazzurri will have a point to prove and Genoa could be on the receiving end of a backlash.
Score prediction: Inter Milan 4-1 Genoa
Cremonese v AC Milan (Sunday, 11.30am)
A surprise defeat to Parma dented AC Milan’s title hopes, but they can continue the chase on city rivals Inter with three points at Cremonese, as they put their unbeaten away record on the line.
Cremonese have the third-worst home record in the division and they have not won in 12 league games, so defeat again looks likely.
Score prediction: Cremonese 0-2 AC Milan
Sassuolo v Atalanta (Sunday, 2pm)
Atalanta sit on the cusp of the European spots, having not lost in the league in 2026, and they secured a big 2-1 win over Napoli last weekend.
Sassuolo are 10 points behind their opponents, but they are also in good form with four wins in their previous five league games, so this one could be evenly poised.
Score prediction: Sassuolo 2-2 Atalanta
Torino vs Lazio (Sunday, 5pm)
Lazio have not enjoyed their finest season and they were held to a goalless draw by Cagliari last time out. That was their 10th draw of the campaign and although they should be safe from relegation, this clash will not be straightforward.
Torino have won only one of their previous eight league games and they are sitting just three points above the drop zone, so they will try to make home advantage count.
Score prediction: Torino 1-1 Lazio
Roma v Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Roma have reeled off two wins and a draw in their last three games and victory over Juventus would strengthen their position in the top four.
Juve continue to drop down the table, having suffered back-to-back defeats to Inter and Como, and a trip to the capital has turned into a must-win game if they wish to fight it out with Europe’s elite next term.
Score prediction: Roma 3-2 Juventus
Pisa v Bologna (Monday, 5.30pm)
A resurgent Bologna can continue their impressive form by inflicting another defeat on struggling Pisa. The visitors were on a four-game losing streak, but back-to-back wins has seen them climb the table once again.
Pisa have the joint-worst home record in the league and their fortunes do not look like changing any time soon with four defeats in their last five.
Score prediction: Pisa 0-1 Bologna
Udinese v Fiorentina (Monday, 7.45pm)
Fiorentina are picking up points at exactly the right time, as they have moved out of the relegation zone on goal difference thanks to back-to-back league wins for the first time all season.
Udinese have lost their last three league games and are slowly getting dragged back into a potential relegation fight. This could be a tight battle.
Score prediction: Udinese 1-2 Fiorentina
