  • Inter Milan have opened up an eight-point lead at the top ahead of Juventus clash

  • Napoli and Roma square off on Sunday

  • Weekend action in Italian top flight ends with Cagliari versus Lecce on Monday

There are games from Friday to Monday in the latest round of Serie A fixtures with key clashes at both ends of the table.

Pacesetters Inter Milan face a big test on Saturday against Juventus, while top four rivals Napoli and Roma lock horns in the late game on Sunday.

Pisa vs AC Milan (Friday, 7.45pm)

Only a win will do for AC Milan if they are to stand any chance of chasing down city rivals Inter and they should have little trouble claiming the points at woeful Pisa, who are on a 13-game winless run and sit joint bottom with just 15 points.

Score prediction: Pisa 0-3 AC Milan

Como vs Fiorentina (Saturday, 2pm)

Como won 3-1 at Fiorentina last month in the Coppa Italia and with home advantage they should be able to back that up with a league win over the struggling Tuscany outfit.

Como have only conceded seven Serie A goals in 12 home games, they can beat La Viola without conceding.

Score prediction: Como 2-0 Fiorentina

Lazio vs Atalanta (Saturday, 5pm)

Lazio have had a poor season by their standards but they have managed to put together a three-game unbeaten run and they came away from Juventus with a point in the previous round of games.

Atalanta have failed to win their last three away games and could be frustrated by an improving Lazio side.

Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Atalanta

Inter Milan vs Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Juventus have had plenty of success against Inter recently with two wins and no defeats in the last three meetings.

However, the Nerazzurri come into this game in fine form with five straight wins across all competitions and they have not lost in Serie A since November.

Juventus have failed to score in three of their last four away games and may draw another blank in Milan this weekend.

Score prediction: Inter Milan 3-0 Juventus

Udinese vs Sassuolo (Sunday, 11.30am)

This is a mid-table battle between two fairly evenly matched sides and they could cancel each other out.

Udinese have drawn two of their last four home games and Sassuolo have two stalemates in their last five away.

Score prediction: Udinese 1-1 Sassuolo

Cremonese vs Genoa (Sunday, 2pm)

Cremonese are going through a poor spell as they are winless in 10 and the goals have dried up too — they have scored just three times during that period.

Genoa come into this clash after strong displays in defeats to Lazio and Napoli, losing 3-2 in both games, and a similar level of performance should be enough for three points on Sunday.

Score prediction: Cremonese 0-2 Genoa

Parma vs Verona (Sunday, 2pm)

Verona have not shown much fight in their battle against the drop with just three points to show from their last nine games.

Parma snapped a four-game winless streak with a 1-0 win at Bologna last time out and with home advantage they should be able to boost their own survival hopes with another three points against Serie A’s bottom club.

Score prediction: Parma 1-0 Verona

Torino vs Bologna (Sunday, 5pm)

Bologna played in the Coppa Italia on Thursday and have a Europa League tie to come next week.

The visitors seem set for mid-table obscurity and Torino still have some work to do in the survival battle so they can grind out a victory.

Score prediction: Torino 1-0 Bologna

Napoli vs Roma (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Napoli and Roma have both fallen away in the Scudetto battle and now these two heavyweights are fighting it out for top four spots.

Napoli won 1-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and with home advantage they may be able to repeat the feat against a Roma side who have four defeats in their last six Serie A away assignments.

Score prediction: Napoli 1-0 Roma

Cagliari vs Lecce (Monday, 7.45pm)

Three wins in their last four games has seen Cagliari pull well clear of danger and they can all-but end any lingering relegation concerns by taking down Lecce, who went into the weekend three points clear of danger.

Lecce have lost each of their last three away games 1-0, Cagliari can make it four in a row on Monday.

Score prediction: Cagliari 1-0 Lecce.
