PM: Ossola and Vos starring for Navarro’s Milan Futuro team – Sassuolo call-up possible
AC Milan could see players called up from the Futuro for the game against Sassuolo next weekend, due to Alexis Saelemaekers’ injury.
There are plenty of interesting young players in the Futuro set-up and Milan could make use of them in the near future. In fact, it could be the game against Sassuolo where Ruben Amorim looks to his younger players.
Two stars in Navarro’s team
PianetaMilan first look at the rebirth of Silvano Vos, who has started fantastically to life under Sergio Navarro. It seemed like he could be sold in the summer, but Navarro kept him and he’s flying.
So far, he’s scored twice and grabbed as many assists too, proving that Navarro’s attacking style matches his best. A regular starter, the idea of him leaving now seems pointless to think about.
The report calls him one of the ‘most interesting talents of the Milan Futuro project’, and with him playing as an attacking midfielder this season, it shows the range he has.
He’s not the only player impressing, though, and there are suggestions that Lorenzo Ossola could be moved into the senior team, perhaps as early as this season.
PianetaMilan write that he’s ‘magic’ for Navarro and he could be promoted for the Sassuolo game, with Saelemaekers’ injury. He’s scored two goals in four Serie D appearances so far, but he also grabbed one against Everton’s Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup.
A gifted attacking midfielder with a wand of a left foot, he can play ‘anywhere’ in the attack, but he could complement Christian Pulisic on the right nicely.
