Official: Torino transfers for Paleari and Anjorin, Cagliari send Borrelli to Turkiye
There are three players leaving Serie A today, as Torino send Alberto Paleari to AEK Larnaca and Tino Anjorin to Goztepe, while Cagliari’s Gennaro Borrelli moves to Rizespor.
The transfer window may be closed in Italy, but the clubs can still send players to other leagues where the market is still open.
Torino and Cagliari complete transfers
Toro have officially completed two transfers this evening to whittle down their squad.
Goalkeeper Paleari has been sold to AEK Larnaca in Cyprus and put pen to paper on a two-year contract after he passed medical tests.
Torino have also loaned English midfielder Anjorin to Turkish club Goztepe, with an option to buy at the end of the season for a reported fee of around €6m.
The Turkish Super Lig is also the destination for Cagliari striker Borrelli, who has joined Caykur Rizespor on a one-season loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old had only joined Cagliari last summer from Brescia, previously playing for Pescara, Frosinone and Juve Stabia.
