Torino have officially signed goalkeeper Lucas Perri from Leeds United, on loan with option to buy for €16m, while they sold Marcus Pedersen to Olympiacos.

The two deals were struck while the team was on the field in this evening’s 2-1 Serie A defeat to Sassuolo.

Perri in for Torino, Pedersen out

An agreement had been reached for Perri several weeks ago, but the move had been delayed while Leeds United tried to find a suitable replacement.

When that situation dragged on, Toro lost patience and demanded that Perri be released for his medical tests, which happened earlier this week.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper put pen to paper on the contract, a loan for €1m with option to buy believed to be set at circa €14-15m.

The Brazilian has also played for Sao Paulo, Crystal Palace and Olympique Lyonnais, when he was sold to Leeds last summer for €16m.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos announced this evening that they have purchased Pedersen and that deal is reported to be worth €6m with up to another €2m in performance-related bonuses.

It allows Torino to turn a profit, having bought him from Feyenoord in 2024 for a total €4.6m fee.
