Official: no Serie A for Brozovic, he is now at Al-Sadd, Romagnoli’s team

The former Inter player from Croatia, who was a free agent, is going to Qatar

Marcelo Brozovic has officially joined Al-Sadd in Qatar. Linked on the transfer market with Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina, the former Inter and Croatia midfielder will not be returning to Italy after all. At Al-Sadd, managed by Romanian coach Razvan Lucescu, Brozovic will link up with Alessio Romagnoli, the former Lazio player who has just moved to Qatar.

Brozovic, born in 1992, was available as a free agent after leaving Saudi champions Al-Nassr when his contract expired on 30 June.

Another Saudi club, Al-Itithad, and Turkey's Trabzonspor were also after him. During his career, Brozovic has worn the shirts of Hrvatski Dragovoljac, Lokomotiva Zagreb, Dinamo Zagreb, Inter and, of course, Al-Nassr, as well as the Croatia national team shirt.
