Official: Mattia Zaramella signs first professional contract with Milan Futuro
AC Milan have announced that another player has put pen to paper on their first pro deal, this time Mattia Zaramella.
It has been a busy recent period when it comes to new contract for the youth sector. A couple of weeks ago, Milan confirmed that full-back Emanuele Borsani has signed his first professional contract after spending part of the preseason with the senior squad.
Towering centre-back Matteo Pagliei has also penned pro terms, while midfielder Tommaso Mancioppi extended his deal. All that came within the space of two days, showing a commitment to building for the future.
Now, the official website has confirmed another young player has signed pro terms: “AC Milan announces that Mattia Zaramella has signed his first professional contract. The 2008-born forward will be part of the Milan Futuro Project, an initiative dedicated to the growth and development of young talent.”
Zaramella is 18 years of age and was born in Cittadella. He plays predominantly just off the striker, but can also play as a centre-forward if needed given that he stands at 6ft1. He already has five league appearances for Milan Primavera this season but is yet to score.
