Official: Juventus vs. AC Milan starting XIs – four changes from Venezia win

AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has named his starting line-up for tonight’s big test against Juventus in Turin.

Milan make the trip to face one of their most historic rivals needing to try and buck the trend of recent years, which has seen them struggle to even score against Juve, let along win.

In terms of team news, Matteo Gabbia was forced to leave Tuesday’s training session early as he was struggling with an ankle injury. He is out of the game, but Amorim chose to reinstate Fikayo Tomori just before the mercato deadline, so there is added cover.

It is no surprise that Milan will line up with a three-man defence of Mario Gila, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic ahead of the goalkeeper and captain Mike Maignan.

Samuel Chukwueze makes way for Diego Moreira at right wing-back, who makes not only his first start for Milan but his competitive debut. Pervis Estupinan is on the other flank, while Yunus Musah partners Luka Modric in the midfield double pivot.

Adrien Rabiot and Alexis Saelemaekers have been chosen as the two attacking midfielders, behind the centre-forward Goncalo Ramos. The bench has the likes of Davide Bartesaghi, Ardon Jashari, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Omari Hutchinson and Francesco Camarda ready to be called upon.
