Official: Atalanta reveal UEFA squad list for 2026-27 Conference League
Atalanta have officially announced their UEFA squad for the upcoming Conference League league phase campaign, naming the maximum of 25 senior players including summer signings Thomas Kristensen, Gianluca Gaetano and deadline day recruit Jonathan Rowe.
All clubs competing in UEFA competitions in 2026-27 must submit their squads for the league phase campaign by the end of Wednesday, September 2, the day after the close of the summer transfer window for the majority of European nations.

Teams are permitted to name a maximum of 25 players on their ‘List A’. Of those 25 players, at least two must be goalkeepers and eight must be ‘locally trained players’ ie. those who were based in Italy for at least three uninterrupted years between the ages of 15 and 21.
Teams are also able to name an unlimited number of players on their ‘List B’, typically reserved for youth-team players. Any player can be named on List B as long as they were born on or after January 1, 2005, and as long as they have played for the club for an uninterrupted period of at least two years.
As is the norm, Atalanta have named the maximum 25 players on their List A, including nine ‘locally-trained players’: Marco Carnesecchi, Marco Sportiello, Rauolo Bellanova, Lorenzo Bernasconi, Giorgio Scalvini, Gianluca Gaetano, Nicola Zalewski, Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca.
Curiously, two Atalanta U23 players have been included in Maurizio Sarri’s List A: 23-year-old striker Tommaso De Nipoti, who is too old to be included on List B, and Sergej Levak, who is 20 years old, but has not played for Atalanta’s youth teams for long enough to be included on List B.
