Rafael Leao’s departure could prompt AC Milan to reinforce their attack and according to a report, Omari Hutchinson has been offered to the club.

After many weeks of speculating and some very intense days, it has been confirmed that Rafael Leao will join Galatasaray and not Aston Villa. The player finally made his decision and said goodbye to Milan yesterday, speaking to the media after the 2-0 win against Venezia.

As a result of his departure, Milan will free up some space on the accounts, not to mention that they will also register a decent capital gain. That, in turn, could perhaps lead to a reinforcement in attack before the window closes.

Evaluations are ongoing

Speaking about the situation on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto said that the Nottingham Forest youngster Hutchinson has been offered to Milan. They are currently evaluating the 22-year-old but won’t make any rash decisions.

“He has been offered to Milan and they are evaluating the player. He’s definitely an interesting profile and could become an option for Milan.

“It remains to be seen whether Milan will act on this offer as they don’t want to buy just for the sake of buying. Instead, they want players who actually can make a difference and can be useful for Amorim’s game. We will see if he is the right fit,” he stated.

Last season, Hutchinson made 41 appearances for Nottingham Forest, scoring one goal and assisting an additional eight.
