Milan, Cardinale moved for Endrick: Real Madrid say no to a loan
The Brazilian is not for sale, but AC Milan have put themselves on the list.
Not just Moreira or the exits of Leao and Nkunku. At AC Milan, the search goes on for an attacking utility player, a creative forward to bolster the squad behind Goncalo Ramos alongside Christian Pulisic.
Today, in a bid to shake up the transfer market, AC Milan approached the entourage of Real Madrid's Brazilian forward Endrick.
Cardinale has made his move
According to Fabrizio Romano, Gerry Cardinale stepped in personally to try to open talks. The owner contacted both Real Madrid and the player's agents, but hit an immediate setback that may not prove futile.
No to a loan move, for now
Endrick wanted to fight for his place at Real Madrid and convinced the club and José Mourinho not to consider a loan move in this transfer window. He gave Roma the same answer in recent days after they also made a move for him.
For now, it's no to a loan because Real Madrid have plenty of attacking options, and a move away in the coming days, or at the latest in January, cannot be ruled out. If that happens, both the player and Los Blancos had already taken note of Milan's interest as a possible destination.
