Juventus, Lucumì has arrived in Turin: medical and then the signing, all the figures
The Colombian defender will become Spalletti’s reinforcement for the defence
Juventus have made their most important signing to strengthen the defence. John Lucumì, the Colombian centre-back born in 1998, arrives from Bologna on a permanent deal.
The left-sided centre-back arrived in Turin today for the routine medical checks ahead of signing the contracts and the official announcement.
He is at JMedical
Lucumi arrived at Continassa in the last few hours on a sweltering Sunday afternoon, 16 August, and headed straight to JMedical for the usual physical tests and medical examinations.
If all goes well, the official announcements could arrive as early as this evening.
All the figures, Cabal waits
Juventus have finally put forward an offer of €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses to sign Lucumì from Bologna. The player had already agreed the move to Turin some time ago on a five-year contract worth €3 million per season including bonuses.
While waiting for Juve, the Colombian even turned down as many as five offers that arrived for him in the meantime. A separate deal, which barring surprises should soon be completed, will see Juan Cabal go the other way to Bologna on loan with an option to buy, with the fee still under discussion.
