Inter’s Board of Directors has approved the draft financial statements for the year ending 30 June 2026, reporting a net profit of €22.7 million and revenue of €518 million, the second-best figure in the club’s history.

The results, confirmed in the Nerazzurri’s own statement, still require sign-off from the Shareholders’ Meeting by mid-October. The €518 million revenue figure sits behind only last season’s record of €567 million, which was inflated by Champions League final income and FIFA Club World Cup participation.

Production costs fell by roughly €20 million, or 4%, while financial charges dropped by around 50%, equal to €19 million, following the refinancing operation completed at the end of the previous year, part of the broader financing strategy underpinning the club’s off-pitch planning. Commercial revenue rose 7%, driven mainly by merchandising under the Fanatics business model, while player-trading revenue increased by €11 million and matchday income improved on a per-event basis.

Contrasting seasons, converging numbers

The 2025/26 campaign delivered a Serie A title and Coppa Italia double under Cristian Chivu, but Inter fell in the Champions League play-offs against Bodø/Glimt, a stark contrast to the previous season’s run to the final. Despite that European disappointment, net equity returned to positive territory at €10.4 million, up from a negative position of roughly €12 million at the close of 2024/25.

Inter also confirmed a substantial infrastructure investment plan covering the Appiano Gentile training centre, detailed in recent investment coverage, and the Konami Women & Talent Center in Interello, alongside continued work tied to the new San Siro project. Chivu’s squad was strengthened with new international talents over the summer, and a fresh partnership with BBVA, covering front-jersey rights for youth sides from Under-18 level down, begins in the 2026/27 financial year, as detailed by Gazzetta dello Sport.
