Inter have completed the puzzle they had in mind with three purchases from the Premier League, but they aren’t necessarily done on the transfer market. They’ll monitor the market for a new striker down the stretch, Corriere dello Sport informs.

The Nerazzurri had devised a plan to bolster their frontline thanks to the departure of Luis Henrique. The talks with Roma were at a good point for a €25M package. The Giallorossi ultimately decided not to proceed and bring in the cheaper and younger Jayden Oosterwolde instead.

The Brazilian speedster remains potentially on his way out. There’s some interest from the Premier League. Inter aren’t too rigid on the terms. If he departed, they wouldn’t necessarily address the same role, due to Andy Diouf, Djed Spence, and Curtis Jones’ versatility. However, they’ve wanted to add a pacey attacker who could provide a spark off the bench for a few years. If somebody with that skill set and also cost-effective became available, they’d be ready to pounce.

Other exits are unlikely, even though the Nerazzurri brass considered Aleksandar Stankovic’s one after they onboarded another midfielder. However, he’s adamant about staying and playing his cards. Ange-Yoan Bonny has been attached to a couple of Serie A sides, but there’s nothing solid for now.

Our Take on Inter

It’s a champagne problem, as they overwhelm their opponents in most matches, but they are indeed missing a slippery forward who could break deadlocks out of the blue. For instance, they were keen on Albert Gudmundsson in the past, and he’s no longer central at Fiorentina after their spending spree. There’ll likely be plenty of outcasts to choose from.
