How much Juventus must pay to bring Adzic back after Sassuolo winner
Vasilije Adzic scored the winning goal as Sassuolo stunned his parent club Juventus on Sunday, but the Bianconeri have an option to bring the midfielder back for €1.7m if the Neroverdi decide to make his move permanent at the end of the season.
Juventus saw their academy product Adzic score a late winner in their Serie A meeting with Sassuolo on Sunday night, causing the first Bianconeri defeat in the 2026-27 season.
Official figures behind Adzic’s Sassuolo move
The 20-year-old Montenegrin midfielder had scored the winner for Juventus against Inter exactly one year earlier, on September 13, 2025, contributing to the Old Lady’s 4-3 win over their archrivals.
Adzic has had a strong start to the season at Sassuolo under ex-Liverpool, Roma and Fiorentina midfielder Alberto Aquilani having already scored three goals and provided one assist in five appearances across all competitions.
He joined Sassuolo from Juventus on a paid €500,000 loan deal during the summer transfer window, leaving Sassuolo with an option to buy for €12m payable in four financial years.
Juventus, however, also retain an option to re-buy the player by paying €1.7m. Juventus officially confirmed the figures when Adzic completed his loan move on August 3, 2026.
