GdS: Predicted XIs for Lazio vs. Milan – Chukwueze back and a chance for Jashari

With a final training session to come before the game against Lazio, Ruben Amorim is beginning to make some selection decisions.
It is all set to be a fascinating battle at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night. Milan have taken seven points out of nine to begin the campaign, while Lazio have won all three of their games and sit joint-top with Inter and city rivals Roma.
Two bits of good news that came from Milanello during the week. Mario Gila – who came off with knee discomfort in the Juventus game – trained regularly and is fine to face his former club. Matteo Gabbia has also shaken off an ankle issue and should be fine to be named in the squad.
Lazio vs. AC Milan: Predicted starting XIs
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Amorim will stick with the three-man defence of Mario Gila, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic ahead of the goalkeeper and captain Mike Maignan.
The four across the midfield from right to left should be Samuel Chukwueze, Ardon Jashari, Yunus Musah and Pervis Estupinan. Then, Adrien Rabiot and the returning Alphadjo Cisse should operate behind Goncalo Ramos.
Amorim will have a strong bench to call upon, featuring the likes of Diego Moreira, Luka Modric, Alexis Saelemaekers, Christian Pulisic, Omari Hutchinson and Francesco Camarda. The latter three are hoping for their first minutes of 2026-27.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Gila, De Winter, Pavlovic; Chukwueze, Jashari, Musah, Estupinan; Rabiot, Cisse; Ramos.
Predicted bench: P. Terracciano, Torriani, Diawara, Tomori, F. Terracciano, Bartesaghi, Moreira, Modric, Comotto, Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic, Hutchinson, Camarda.
Predicted Lazio XI (4-2-3-1): Mandas; F. Mussolini, Doekhi, Provstgaard, Tavares; Frattesi, Belahyane, Taylor; Isaksen, Pinamonti, Zaccagni.
