Serie A action returns this coming weekend, and the schedule for the AC Milan squad has been outlined for the days ahead.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write this morning, the players who were not on international duty were given Saturday and Sunday off, following Friday’s 1-1 draw against Padova in the behind closed doors friendly at Milanello.

The weekend break is over, and training resumes today with a specific goal in mind. This is the week leading up to the restart of competitive action, featuring an away match against Sassuolo, a European trip to RB Salzburg, and a packed schedule of upcoming fixtures.

Calm before the storm

In recent days, Milanello has been a quiet hub for just a select few: goalkeepers Terracciano and Torriani; defenders Gila, Gabbia, Filippo Terracciano, Tomori, and Diawara; midfielders Comotto and Loftus-Cheek; and attackers Pulisic and Hutchinson.

The squad will be back to full strength between tomorrow and Wednesday. Pavlovic and Gonçalo Ramos – who played for their national teams yesterday – will be among the first to rejoin the group.

The French contingent (Maignan, Rabiot), the Belgians (Moreira and De Winter), and the Italy U21s (Bartesaghi, Camarda, Cisse) are in action today and expected back tomorrow.

Modric and Jashari have their final international matches scheduled for tomorrow evening, meaning they will arrive at Milanello on Wednesday. Chukwueze, Estupinan, and Musah – the only players returning from intercontinental travel – are also expected to join the rest of the squad for training.
