Four shine, disagreements over Ramos: Player ratings for Milan-Lecce from Italian papers

AC Milan put in perhaps their most convincing display of Ruben Amorim’s tenure so far, beating Lecce 3-0 at San Siro.

The opening goal was a stroke of brilliance from Christian Pulisic, who brought down a ball over the top from Strahinja Pavlovic with a deft touch and then finished. Adrien Rabiot and Diego Moreira both added to their tallies in the second half to make it a relatively stress-free evening.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall performance and Amorim’s management of the game, both of which earned a 7 out of 10.

The man of the match was Pulisic who got a 7.5, while the ‘flop’ was Ruben Loftus-Cheek, despite the fact that he got a passing grade of 6 and the joint-lowest score.

Pavlovic, Rabiot and Diego Moreira were each awarded a 7, while 6.5s went to Mike Maignan, Mario Gila, Koni De Winter, Samuel Chukwueze, Luka Modric, Alexis Saelemaekers and Goncalo Ramos. Only Pervis Estupinan and Yunus Musah got a 6.

Corriere dello Sport (via SpazioMilan) also gave Pulisic a 7.5 score, and dished out 7s to Pavlovic, Modric, Rabiot and Moreira. Gila, De Winter, Chukwueze and Saelemaekers got half a point less. The rest got passing scores aside from Ramos and Loftus-Cheek, who were given 6.5s.

Finally, Tuttosport agree with Pulisic getting a 7.5, while they gave the same score to Rabiot. Pavlovic, Chukwueze, Saelemaekers and Moreira scored 7, then Gila, Modric and Ramos a 6.5. Only Loftus-Cheek (5.5) got less than a 6.
