CorSport: Game time and good relations – why Milan’s Endrick chances are growing

After attempting to close the deal in the summer, AC Milan will try to land Endrick from Real Madrid again this winter.

Corriere dello Sport begin a report this morning by stating that Endrick’s sad face has gone viral in recent days. The talented Brazilian striker is struggling to find playing time at Real Madrid due to fierce competition and is often forced to sit out matches from the bench.

He wasn’t used in the first few games of the season, except for four minutes in the final match against Elche before the international break. He didn’t even appear at all in the Champions League against Inter.

The topic is causing a stir in Brazil, where they’re starting to push for a loan in January. Carlo Ancelotti even hinted in a press conference that a change in scenery may be best to continue his development, after a loan at Lyon in 2025-26.

Endrick: New attempt ready

With the situation as it is now, Milan could try again. They are interested in signing Endrick this winter after their unsuccessful attempt in the summer.

The 20-year-old was in fact a transfer target for the Rossoneri in July, when Gerry Cardinale attempted to set up negotiations with Real Madrid, but the Spanish club rejected the approach.

Over the summer, the Rossoneri met with the player’s agents to assess the feasibility of the deal, but the deal fell through because president Florentino Perez blocked the player’s departure.

The plan for Los Blancos was to keep Endrick in the squad and for him to be an alternative to Kylian Mbappé during the campaign, but so far the player has only seen the pitch once and is far from satisfied.

This represents a boost to the teams that inquired in the summer and who would be ready to welcome the striker on loan in January. Real Madrid have no intention of selling him permanently, given Endrick’s still young age, but could explore a loan.

The Rossoneri are ready, aware that relations between the two clubs have always been excellent since the days of Silvio Berlusconi. This includes recent deals with Real, such as the signings of Theo Hernandez and Brahim Díaz, the latter on a two-year loan before returning to Spain.

In January , it’s not just the Rossoneri that will be interested in Endrick: there will also be pressure from Roma and other clubs for the former Palmeiras sensation.
