The Celtic starting XI Martin O'Neill should use against Motherwell
Celtic are back in action on Saturday, when they head to Fir Park to take on Motherwell in their first game back after the international break. The Bhoys went into the break on the back of three straight defeats, sending them into a crisis of sorts going into the break.
But there was no change of manager, with Martin O'Neill deciding to stay put, and the Bhoys will now look to get back to top-of-the-league form after the break.
Here we take a look at the starting XI O'Neill should start for the Motherwell clash.
GK - Viljami Sinisalo
Sinisalo remains Celtic's best option between the sticks, and O'Neill must recognise that by keeping Sam Johnstone on the bench.
LB - Kieran Tierney
Tierney withdrew from international duty, but it doesn't seem like a major injury, and he has now had three weeks to recover. If he's fit, Tierney starts, if not, Liam Scales could deputise, while Landon Emenalo should be close to returning.
CB - Auston Trusty
Trusty played for USMNT over the international break and he is still likely just ahead of Scales in the pecking order, but there isn't much between them currently.
CB - Cameron Carter-Vickers
Carter-Vickers whipped up a storm before the break with his comments, but the American international remains Celtic's best centre-back on form.
RB -Jordan Lotomba
Colby Donovan has done well, but O'Neill should take the opportunity to get a look at Lotomba. He won't be able to take that risk against some of the better teams Celtic have coming up after this game.
CDM - Callum McGregor
We are not yet at the point of dropping McGregor despite his poor form, though Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain won't be far away from getting a chance.
CDM - Mika Baur
Baur has his tail up after his first two Germany appearances, and you'd like to think O'Neill will let him ride that wave and show his confidence.
CAM - Benjamin Nygren
Nygren has been battling illness after picking up a bug during international duty. He should be good to go by the weekend, and he should start, still one of Celtic's most technically gifted players.
RW - Haissem Hassan
Hassan needs to get back to his best, and he got some extra rest over the break, so he should gain from that recovery. He is Celtic's most natural right winger and he should play there.
LW - Yang Hyun-jun
It looks like Yang is back fit after his hamstring issue during the Asian Games, and Celtic will be buzzing to get him back. Yang is a key starter.
CF - Camilo Durán
Kasper Hogh remains out of form, and he shouldn't start until he finds some. Durán hasn't been much better of late, but he is more dangerous in that central spot currently.
