Scottish FA confirm officials for Celtic’s Fir Park clash with Motherwell

The Scottish FA confirmed the match officials for the lunchtime encounter on Tuesday, with Don Robertson handed VAR duties at Clydesdale House.

McLean took charge of four Celtic league fixtures last season, with the Hoops recording one victory, one draw and two defeats. He was also the man in the middle for Celtic’s Scottish Cup final victory over Dunfermline at Hampden in May.

Jonathan Bell will run the line alongside McLean at Fir Park, while George Calder has been named as the fourth official.

The trip to Motherwell marks Celtic’s first competitive outing following a three-week international break and comes at an important time for Martin O’Neill’s side.

Celtic went into the break on the back of three consecutive defeats, suffering successive losses against Rangers before a 3-1 home defeat to Ferencvaros in their Europa League opener.
