Celtic will be desperate for a response when they welcome Rangers to Celtic Park on Sunday, just seven days after suffering a painful 3-0 defeat to their Glasgow rivals in the Scottish League Cup, which was followed by a 3-1 home defeat to Ferencvaros in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Hoops have made a perfect start to their Premiership title defence, winning all six of their league matches and opening up a five-point lead over Rangers at the top of the table.
Rangers, meanwhile, have won their last five matches in all competitions and will be aiming to complete an Old Firm double inside the space of a week.

Team news
Alistair Johnston, Callum Osmand and Jota remain unavailable, while Yang Hyun-Jun is also absent due to his involvement with South Korea at the Asian Games.
Rangers remain without Lawrence Shankland because of a hamstring problem, while Youssef Chermiti is sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury.
Ryan Naderi is also a major doubt after suffering an ankle injury in last weekend’s Old Firm clash, although manager Derek McInnes is hopeful he can recover in time.

Prediction
Celtic’s perfect league record makes them difficult to ignore, particularly with home advantage, but Rangers showed last Sunday that they have a formula capable of causing the champions serious problems.
The Hoops also arrive after another defeat in midweek, while Rangers have had the luxury of a full week to prepare.
That could make this a more open contest than last weekend’s match, especially with Celtic needing to take the initiative at home and therefore there is a strong case for goals at both ends.
Kevin Kelsy got his first goal and assist for Rangers in last week’s game and can build on that in this league fixture, while Kieran Tierney has shown his attacking threat with two assists of his own this term.
Score prediction: Celtic 2-2 Rangers
