Hearts top the standings after registering six wins from their seven matches
Celtic are the division's only other unbeaten side and are two points behind the leaders
Managerless Rangers begin life without Russell Martin sitting eighth in the standings
The Scottish Premiership season resumes following the international break this weekend and there will be plenty of focus on managerless Rangers, who host Dundee United in one of five matches on Saturday.
The Gers parted ways with previous boss Russell Martin following a disastrous start to the season and, with Kevin Muscat poised to take over, they will be determined to pick up just their second victory of the league campaign.
Also on Saturday, surprise leaders Hearts will aim to preserve their place at the top of the standings with victory at Kilmarnock, but anything less could open the door for second-placed Celtic, who visit Dundee in Sunday's sole offering.
Hibernian vs Livingston (Saturday, 3pm)
Hibernian have gone off the boil of late, failing to triumph in any of their last six across league and cup, but they should return to winning ways against a Livingston side whose form is even worse, as they have registered no victories and five defeats from their last seven.
Score prediction: Hibernian 2-0 Livingston
Motherwell vs Falkirk (Saturday, 3pm)
Motherwell's unbeaten start to the season was ended in heart-breaking fashion by Celtic last time out, but they should bounce back when Falkirk head to Fir Park – the visitors have lost three of their last four on the road by at least a two-goal margin.
Score prediction: Motherwell 3-1 Falkirk
Rangers vs Dundee United (Saturday, 3pm)
Managerless Rangers will be chasing just a second league win of the season when Dundee United visit Ibrox and interim boss Steven Smith will be hoping his struggling side can receive something of a bounce.
The omens are good for the Gers, who are unbeaten in 10 against Saturday's visitors, winning eight of those and they can edge to an overdue victory in front of what could be a nervy home support.
Score prediction: Rangers 2-1 Dundee United
St Mirren vs Aberdeen (Saturday, 3pm)
Aberdeen are still bottom of the standings but they did register their first league win in emphatic fashion against Dundee before the international break, triumphing 4-0.
A trip to St Mirren, who are unbeaten at home, will be tough, but the Dons can pick up a point.
Score prediction: St Mirren 0-0 Aberdeen
Kilmarnock vs Hearts (Saturday 5.45pm)
Hearts are flying at the moment, winning four games on the bounce to move top of the standings.
Their dramatic Edinburgh derby success over Hibernian before the break will have boosted confidence even more and they should pick up another three points from their trip to Kilmarnock.
Score prediction: Kilmarnock 1-2 Hearts
Dundee vs Celtic (Sunday, 12pm)
The fact Celtic remain unbeaten domestically despite not being at their best is ominous for the rest of the division and Sunday's hosts Dundee are not in form, losing two on the bounce without scoring.
Celtic were 6-0 winners when the teams last met in Glasgow in February and, although this result may not be quite as emphatic at Dens Park, it should still end in a comfortable victory for the champions.
Score prediction: Dundee 0-3 Celtic
