Derek McInnes' Hearts look vulnerable ahead of a derby clash with Hibernian
  • Hearts have a one-point advantage at the top of the table

  • Third-placed Celtic are only three points behind Hearts

  • Kilmarnock have work to do to avoid relegation play-off

The Scottish Premiership post-split fixtures kick off this weekend and there is bound to be more drama as three teams chase the league title.

Hearts remain in the driving seat for the title, but they still have work to do if they are to win their first top-flight crown since 1960.

There are three games taking place on Saturday and Sunday and we have picked out a score prediction for each fixture.

Aberdeen vs Kilmarnock (Saturday, 3pm)

Aberdeen are three places and five points better off than Kilmarnock in the Relegation Group and they should be able to extend that advantage this week.

The Dons beat Hibernian 2-0 last week to end an eight-match winless run and they should be able to outmuscle a Killie side who have gone 13 games without a win on the road.

Score prediction: Aberdeen 2-1 Kilmarnock

St Mirren vs Livingston (Saturday, 3pm)

St Mirren have work to do if they are to avoid the relegation play-off, but a home game against Livingston is as good as it gets.

The Buddies have won three of their last five home games in all competitions and they should have too much class for a Livi outfit who have won only one match all season.

Score prediction: St Mirren 2-0 Livingston

Celtic vs Falkirk (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Falkirk did enough to secure a spot in the Championship Group, but they should be no match for Celtic this week.

The Hoops have lost only one of their last nine matches in all competitions, while at home they have only lost three times in 16 fixtures in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bairns have one win to their name in five outings and their struggles at Celtic Park should continue.

Score prediction: Celtic 2-0 Falkirk

Dundee United vs Dundee (Sunday, 2pm)

Sunday's action starts with a mouthwatering derby battle and Dundee United should be able to prosper at Tannadice Park.

The Terrors have won three on the spin at home and are unbeaten in six in front of their own fans.

Dundee's away form has taken a dip in recent weeks, with one win to their name in seven away trips.

Score prediction: Dundee United 2-1 Dundee

Rangers vs Motherwell (Sunday, 3pm)

Rangers are only one point behind Hearts in the title race and the Gers can put the pressure on with a home win against Motherwell.

The hosts have won four in a row, scoring 15 goals in the process, while the Steelmen are without a win in five.

Score prediction: Rangers 3-1 Motherwell

Hibernian vs Hearts (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Hearts' recent away form is a worry ahead of kick-off against their arch-rivals Hibs in a high-profile Edinburgh derby.

The Jam Tarts are winless in four away from home, including three defeats, so they will do well to beat Hibs, who are unbeaten in nine at Easter Road.

Score prediction: Hibernian 1-1 Hearts
