Derek McInnes and his Hearts side have the chance to go nine points clear at the top
  • Hearts have a six-point cushion at the top of the Premiership table

  • Hibs sit in fourth place after ten matches

  • Falkirk will be looking to bounce back from Celtic defeat

Focus may be on the League Cup semi-finals taking place at Hampden Park this weekend, but there are still three Premiership fixtures on Saturday afternoon to look forward to.

Hearts have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table when they face Dundee at Tynecastle. The Jambos drew 2-2 with St Mirren in midweek. This result came just days after the Edinburgh side defeated Celtic 3-1.

Hibs face a tricky tie away at Livingston. David Gray’s men suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Rangers on Wednesday and will be aiming to bounce back.

Seventh vs eighth meet as Falkirk play host to Kilmarnock in the final game on Saturday afternoon.

We have correct score predictions for all three matchups of week 11.

Hearts vs Dundee (Saturday, 3pm)

Hearts sealed a massive victory over Celtic last weekend at Tynecastle to extend their lead at the top of the table.

The club couldn’t back that up against St Mirren, however, having a late winner ruled out in Paisley.

Nevertheless, the gap at the top could grow to nine by the end of Saturday, with Celtic on League Cup duty.

Dundee sit 11th in the table, yet have beaten Celtic and drawn with Rangers so far this season.

The Dens Park side have suffered five losses in the top flight, however, including a dismal derby defeat to Dundee United and a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Aberdeen at the start of October.

Score prediction: Hearts 2 – 0 Dundee

Livingston vs Hibs (Saturday, 3pm)

Livingston returned to the top flight after a season away, but they have found life tough at the top.

Across their opening 10 matches, the club have secured a solitary victory, coming against Falkirk back in August.

The home side have already faced Hibs twice this season. In the second round of the League Cup, Hibs prevailed 2-0 before condemning Livi to a 4-0 thrashing on Premiership duty just three weeks ago.

Hibs currently sit fourth and know that a win on Saturday will allow them to leapfrog Rangers, who play Celtic in the League Cup.

Gray’s men may have lost just twice, but five draws has stalled their chances of building up any momentum this term.

Score prediction: Livingston 1 – 2 Hibs

Falkirk vs Kilmarnock (Saturday, 3pm)

Falkirk returned to the Premiership this season for the first time in 15 years and have made a solid start. Wins over Aberdeen and Motherwell were high points. As to was sealing a share of the spoils against Rangers at the start of October.

Kilmarnock’s only wins in the league this season have come against Dundee United and St Mirren as they sit just four points off the foot of the table.

This matchup will be a tense affair, with neither team looking to give anything away. As such, it could have a draw written all over it.

Score prediction: Falkirk 1 – 1 Kilmarnock
