Celtic youngster earns Thierry Henry comparison after brilliant B team double

Keenan grabbed a first-half double as Celtic B played out a 3-3 draw in the KDM Evolution Trophy, but it was his second strike that particularly caught the eye of former Scotland striker Rory Loy.

The youngster was released down the left before cutting inside onto his right foot and calmly finding the far corner – a finish that immediately reminded Loy of Henry.

Speaking on Premier Sports, he said: “That’s a beautiful finish. The old Thierry Henry-style instep. Cutting in from the left hand side and finding the far corner.

“It’s one ball forward, he’s in behind and it is a good first touch. Opens up the angle and corner, beautiful.

“Stroked into the corner. That’s a good finish.”
